About your guide:
Historian, author, veteran, historical museum professional and experienced traveler, all ways to describe Steve. He’s been exploring European battlefields and historical sites since 1977.
Steve has conducted over twenty-five tours throughout Western Europe and in the Mediterranean. As the historian for the 82nd Airborne Division Association, Steve has walked the battlefields with World War II veterans from Sicily to Berlin, now he’ll share with you what he learned.
Steve retired from the Army after a 26 year career, he was a paratrooper and is an Afghan War veteran. He also has several books to his credit, most on airborne warfare and is currently the Director of the Selfridge Military Air Museum.
